The holiday season is one of the most exciting times of the year. However, the stress of organizing a dinner party can also be overwhelming and exhausting. Fortunately, my sister is the brave soul that bares the responsibility of cooking Thanksgiving dinner (out of all the foods I can cook, why does baking a turkey elude me?). For this Makeup of the Week: Holiday Edition, I have put together two quick and easy looks, using long-wearing products that can be worn without any need for touch-ups. I hope you enjoy!

Makeup of the Week: Holiday Edition.
Giorgio Armani Eye and Brow Maestro 9 Gold and Givenchy 9 Brun Cachmeire.

Makeup of the Week: Holiday Edition.
Giorgio Armani Eye and Brow Maestro 9 Gold mixed with Givenchy 9 Brun Cachemire.
Makeup of the Week: Holiday Edition Eye Makeup:
- Prime eyes with Nars Eyeshadow Primer.
- Fill and shape the brows (Giorgio Armani Eye and Brow 2 Wenge Wood).
- Using the back of your hand, combine equal parts (amount will vary) of Giorgio Armnai Eye and Brow 9 Gold with Givenchy 9 Brun Cachemire (reviewed here) and apply the mixture to the mobile lid using a synthetic brush.
- Use a warm brown shade in the crease (MUFE M-600) to blend out the edges of the lid color.
- Apply a lighter gold shade to the inner corners of the eye (MUFE ME-512).
- Line the lower lash line with Givenchy Brun Cachemire and then lightly pat Giorgio Armani 9 Gold directly over.
- Line the inner waterline, with a flesh tone pencil (Merle Norman Inner Liner), extending the color out and under the winged liner, to lighten the look and make eyes appear larger.
- Tightline the upper waterline with any gel liner of your choosing (Inglot AMC #90).
- Add your favorite mascara (Clinique High Impact Mascara) and black liner (Milani Liquid Liner) and your look is complete.
- This step is opitional: I like to add a bit more of 9 Gold over the lid for a little extra pizzazz.

THE VERDICT: If makeup could talk what would it say?
Makeup would tell you these two looks lasted perfectly all day, with the exception of the lip color. What look are you planning to wear for the upcoming holidays?
Since Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks, a special thanks to my hubby who always supports my insanity; to my children who always accompany me (reluctantly, but sweet about it) to the cosmetics counters; and last, but certainly not least, to all of my wonderful readers who always provide inspiration and joy. Happy Thanksgiving…warm wishes and big hugs from my home to yours. Be well, stay safe and be happy.
