Makeup of the Week Eighth Edition.

Makeup of the Week Eighth Edition.

Makeup of the Week Eighth Edition.

This has been a very busy week.  My children started school and that in it of itself is always stressful.  The silver lining in this scenario is, I have gained some much needed time to myself.  I had time to carefully apply my makeup without any interruptions, it’s the little things in life that make me happy.  Admittedly, I do miss my eldest son’s commentaries and photographic assistance.

This week’s look was centered around my lashes.  Truthfully, I never gave them much thought, until Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara came into my life.  The delivery of zero flaking, no clumps, no stiffness all wrapped-up in a lightweight formula was enough for me to declare, love at first application!  I hope you find this post helpful.

THE VERDICT:  If makeup could talk what would it say?

Makeup would tell you if you have some time to yourself, do what brings you the most joy.  Just think in a year from now, events/people/things which gave us the most stress presently, will be a fleeting memory.  A lesson I remind myself of everyday.  Don’t sweat the small stuff and try to appreciate all the positive fortune surrounding you. It’s there I promise.  Be well and stay safe.

Makeup of the Week: Seventh Edition Golden Eyes.

This Makeup of the Week: Seventh Edition Golden Eyes will feature a brightening, quick and low maintenance look.  My gel liners worked as the ideal multi-purpose product, giving me a long-lasting and smudge-free eye look.  People will think you spent hours on your eye makeup, when only ten minutes were employed.  There is something about pairing gold with navy blue, which I find so attractive and universally flattering.  I hope you enjoy.  *click on each photo to enlarge.

THE VERDICT:  If makeup could talk what would it say?

Makeup would reveal this makeup look took no time to put together.  Try to utilize multi-purpose products if time is of the essence in the morning.  Gel liners work beautifully as cream eyeshadows, bronzer can be used for crease color/eyeshadow, and lipstick could also take on the role of blusher.   Learn to be creative with the use of your cosmetics to suit your life style.  You may come up with unique one-of-a-kind colors, and save money to boot.  Of course in my case, this only leads me to spend more money to see if I can duplicate my success.  Oh well…every theory has it’s flaws 🙂  Be well and stay safe.

Makeup of the Week: Sixth Edition.

This Makeup of the Week: Sixth Edition will feature all the lovely goodies I acquired last week from my visit to the CCO.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with a CCO (Cosmetics Company Outlet), it is an outlet store the Estee Lauder Company has cleverly established to sell all of their overstock merchandise from their subsidiary brands.  All cosmetics/fragrance brands included are: Estee Lauder, MAC, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, Joe Malone, Flirt, Smashbox, Bumble and Bumble, Origins, Donna Karen, Tom Ford, Ojon, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and Prescriptives.  All items in store are sold at a 30% discount off the original retail price.  As an added bonus, the sales women are lovely and customers have the comfort/freedom to swatch and roam for as long as one desires.  Who could ask for more?

Makeup would tell you to locate your nearest Tangers Outlet Mall (location finder here) and visit a CCO pronto!  Plan a trip for the day with your family/friends and roam all the stores to your heart’s content.  CCO are fantastic for discovering some limited-edition jewels that were hard to obtain during the original release. Current Makeup Favorites.

In lieu of my Makeup of the Week I decided to update you all on my Current Makeup Favorites.  I hope you find this helpful and informative. **click on each item for a direct link to the product.

Base Makeup:

  1. Dr. Mercola Facial Sunscreen SPF 30:   The absolute best natural sunscreen.  I do not wear commercial sunscreen because I cannot tolerate the odor and the plethora of chemicals in the formula.  However, Dr. Mercola’s all natural line of sun protection products cannot be beat.  This is especially ideal for those with sensitive skin.
  2. Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer:  I really appreciate this primer in the summer.  It evens out your skintone and really does prolong the wear of your foundation.
  3. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation:  Foundations come and go but EL Double Wear is my HG foundation.  This guy never lets me down, the longevity and finish cannot compare.  Apply EL Double Wear on well moisturized skin, with a damp brush/sponge and blend to perfection.  I love all of their  foundations.
  4. Edward Bess Concealer:  As of late, I had to revert back to wearing concealer and EB is one of my favorites.  I had the pleasure of meeting Edward at Bergdorf and he was just as lovely as he appears on TV; a true Southern Gentleman!

Eye Makeup:

  1. Laura Mercier Eye Canvas:  Great base for eyeshadows (reviewed here).
  2. MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus:  I use this as an all over eyeshadow to even out my skin tone on my lids.  On occasion, I do use this on my face to set my face makeup.
  3. MAC Powerchrome Eye Pencils: Copper Strip (reviewed here) and Life’s Luxury (reviewed here).
  4. Prestige Total Intensity Eyeshadow in Wicked: (reviewed here).
  5. Clinique True Black cream eyeliner:  Wonderfully black, smooth, long lasting and relatively inexpensive for a high end brand.
  6. Inglot #89 Matte AMC Eyeliner Gel:  The only color/formula that will last on my upper waterline for tight lining purposes.
  7. L’Oreal Telescpic Mascara and Prestige My Blackest Lash Mascara:  The L’Oreal is for lengthening and Prestige is for giving volume.  Both can be found in any drugstore.
  8. Shu Uemura Eyebrow pencil in Seal Brown 02:  A naturally flattering color for my dark brows.

Face Makeup:

  1. Laura Mercier Ritual Bronzer Blush:  One of the best bronzer to have come out this year.  It was limited edition and is sold out online.  Check your local Sephora locations and LM counters for availability (reviewed here).
  2. Laura Mercier Highlight 01:  Beautiful neutral colored highlighter that can be used wet or dry (reviewed here).
  3. Bobbi Brown Pale Pink blush:  This color is universally flattering on everyone.  It is matte and extremely long lasting.  BB has one of the best blush formulas around.
  4. MAC Sweet As Cocoa:  Rosey Bronze blush can also be used to deepen a matte bronzer, as an eyeshadow, and a blend out color (reviewed here).
  5. Skindinavia Finishing Spray:  Admittedly, I do not use many finishing powders in the summer time.  I do use this spray to prolong the wear of my bronzer and blush and to help meld all the colors together on my face.

Lip Makeup:

  1. Daliia Lip Stain in Runway Fashion Fuchsia:  Love the naturalness, longevity, color, and wear of this lip stain.  I may have to pick up another one (reviewed here).  My Best Friend’s Red lip stain is next on the list.
  2. Dior Addict Lipstick:  These are wonderfully creamy and smooth.  They will not dry out your lips and last nicely paired with a long lasting lipliner  (reviewed here).
  3. Shiseido Rouge Lacquer Liquid Lipsticks:  The best liquid lipstick I have found, they do not contain any fragance or flavoring, long lasting, wears off evenly and pairs beautifully with Daliia’s lips stain; will not cause it to break down or bleed into your fine lines.

Makeup Bag:

  1. Tory Burch Makeup Bag:   A wonderful addition to my makeup family.  This bag is roomy enough to fit all of your essentials and more.

THE VERDICT:  If makeup could talk what would it say?

Makeup would tell you to invest in products you know you will use and love.  Do not be a moth to the makeup flame, stick to what works.  Now, if only I would take my own advise 🙂   To be continued….with current brush favorites.  Be well and stay safe.

MAC Copper Strip Powerchrome Eye Pencil review and swatches.

MAC Copper Strip Powerchrome Eye pencil.

MAC Copper Strip Powerchrome Eye pencil.

When I “fall” for a particular item in a makeup line, I have a tendency to reuse that one item because the other colors offered are either textually inconsistent or the wear/longevity are an absolute disappointment. MAC is famous for this type of production.  I am a huge fan of MAC makeup, but the amount of collections and high production aspect does hinder the quality at times.  I am proud to announce such is not the case with MAC Copper Strip Powerchrome Eye Pencil ($21/ 1.6g.)   This eye pencil was part of the limited-edition Temperature Rising Collection in the beginning of June.  All four colors are still offered on the MAC website (fully stocked) and hopefully will make it to their permanent line.

IMG_5930IMG_5934

The Formula:

I absolutely love these pencils!  They are long-lasting, smooth, layer well and make excellent stay alone colors or work beautifully as bases for powder eyeshadows.  Powerchrome’s formula does not dry down too quickly, you will have enough time to smudge or blend your eyeshadow to perfection.  My thoughts on Copper Strip are the same as was for Life’s Luxury (shown here). The general damper on my blissful review lies with the actual sharpening of the pencil and amount offered.  As stated in my previous review, a twist up mechanism would have been ideal.  The amount/price ratio could be improved as well. Nevertheless, I am a bit more forgiving if a product will perform as promised.

IMG_5864IMG_5844

The Color:

Copper Strip is a radiant copper frost with a bronzy/red undertone.  It applies more vibrantly on the lid than when swatched on the arm.  I can see brown, blue, green, and hazel eyes beauties all having a favorable reaction to this color. Copper Strip is not so unnaturally vivid, that it would scream COPPER ON THE EYELIDS!  On the contrary, the bronze undertone gives Copper Strip a unique depth and wearability. I felt like Elena Glibert on The Vampire Diaries.  She wore a copper-colored eyeshadow throughout the first season that made her eyes appear incandescent!

IMG_5905IMG_5906

Comparison L-R:  Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill #15, MAC Bronze, MAC Copper Strip, MAC Life’s Luxury (reviewed here), EL Gold/Bronze ShadowStick Duo, L’Oreal Infallible #800 Bottomless Java, Prestige Wicked (reviewed here).

MAC Copper Strip Powerchrome Eye pencil is sold everywhere MAC Cosmetics is sold.  Your best bet would be to directly order it from maccosmetics.com.  They offer free shipping on all orders!  Who wouldn’t love that?

THE VERDICT:  If makeup could talk what would it say?

Makeup would tell you, Copper Strip Powerchrome Eye Pencil is so versatile.  It can be worn as an eyeshadow, an eyeshadow base, a liner and in the inner waterline (as shown in the photo above). Although, I suspect contact lens wearers would find this problematic.  There is no fallout, fuss or muss with these Powerchrome pencils.  They are so creamy, long-lasting and convenient, I’m surprised MAC has decreed these “limited edition”.  Makeup is also telling you to buy these pencils; take note of the forceful, weighty, substantial hint 🙂 Enough said!  Be well and stay safe.

MOTW: Makeup of the Week fifth edition.

Makeup of the week fifth edition.

Makeup of the week fifth edition.

This week has been fun and exciting.  Here in the Americas, we celebrated our nation’s independence.  My personal highlight was spending time with family we do not get to see often.  Did I wear makeup on a hot, muggy, and humid Fourth of July?  Yup…You Betcha. Did my makeup look flawless at the end of the day? Not even this makeup maven could battle the forces of sweaty pores at their optimum levels.  This Makeup of the Week fifth edition, is a tribute to the war paint that was strategically applied in the morning and shamelessly vanquished in the evening.

THE VERDICT:  If makeup could talk what would it say?

Makeup would tell you to always look your best even when the circumstances are stacked against you.  As Coco Chanel once said,

Elegance is refusal.

I refuse to let meteorological conditions, exhaustion, children or animal ever stop me from looking and feeling my best. Refusal to accept anything but the best for yourself is always the order of the day; a little “makeup” for your soul.  Be well and stay safe.

MAC Life’s Luxury and Sweet As Cocoa
review and swatches.

MAC Life's Luxury eye swatch.

MAC Life’s Luxury eye swatch.

On my recent trip to the mall I was drawn into the MAC store by an unknown force.  My husband calls it obsession, I call it Amore….The items that beckoned me were MAC Life’s Luxury Powerchrome eye pencil ($21 US/1.6 g) and MAC Sweet As Cocoa powder blush ($21 US/6g).

Life’s Luxury Color/Formula:

Life’s Luxury Powerchrome eye pencil was part of the Temperature Rising collection that came out three weeks ago. There are four colors offered in the Powerchrome line:

  1. Rich Glance: Light gold.
  2. Copper Stripe: Frosty Mid tone copper.
  3. Life’s Luxury:  Deep Bronze brown (my choice that warranted further investigation).
  4. Polished Jet:  Charcoal with pearl.

I was hoping the formula of these Powerchrome pencils would not resemble the dreaded paint sticks from the past.  Breathe a *sigh* of relief….these are fabulous!!!

MAC LIfe's Luxury.

MAC LIfe’s Luxury.

Life’s Luxury is a pencil form of Bobbi Brown Chocolate Shimmer Ink gel liner (CSI).  This beautiful bronze brown shade with varying sizes of red pearl, far surpasses CSI.  Life’s Luxury lasts longer, the red pearl is more visible, and the portability aspect cannot be beat.  Life’s Luxury glides on the lid smoothly, there is a certain density in its texture which ensures longevity and vitality.  I wore this pencil on a hot and humid day, sitting pool side (sans cabana boys and margaritas) without any fading or smudging in sight. Impressive!

MAC Life's Luxury vs. Bobbi Brown Chocolate Shimmer Ink swatches.

MAC Life’s Luxury vs. Bobbi Brown Chocolate Shimmer Ink swatches.

This Powerchrome pencil also layers very nicely.  Life’s Luxury can be manipulated before it sets, however once it sets it will not budge.  I use my beloved Billy B #12 & #8 brushes (reviewed here)  to blend out each layer until I reach my desired intensity. Removal is effortless with any facial cleanser/makeup remover.  MAC should consider making these pencils part of their permanent line.

In a perfect world, it would have been ideal if MAC would have had the foresight to design these pencils with a twist-up mechanism, rather than the traditional pencil sharpening method.

Sweet As Cocoa Color/Formula:

Sweet As Cocoa is a powder blush in MAC’s permanent line.  With all the limited edition collections MAC puts out, their permanent line does not get the recognition it deserves.  This blush is what I wanted Fiery Impact (FI) to be, from the Extra Dimension Collection.  FI hardened in the pan, was flat and non-dimensional on my light olive skin tone.

MAC Sweet As Cocoa.

MAC Sweet As Cocoa.

Sweet As Cocoa (SAC) is a beautiful rosy bronze color, infused with a delicate pink sheen.  The more you blend out this blush, the more luminous it becomes.  SAC is very dark and pigmented, a light hand and/or a dual fiber brush would be required.  This particular color is always recommended for darker skinned beauties, however I could not help but see a resemblance (in tone) to my beloved Laura Mercier Ritual bronzer.  The colors are very similar but not exact.  SAC has more of a pink pearl in its formula and Ritual has a prominent brown base.

L-R: Laura Mercier Ritual Bronzer vs. MAC Sweet As Cocoa swatch.

L-R: Laura Mercier Ritual Bronzer vs. MAC Sweet As Cocoa swatch.

The wear time of Sweet As Cocoa (SAC) blush was stellar.  It paired perfectly with Life’s Luxury on the eye and Laura Mercier Ritual as a bronzer.  I also use SAC to blend out any harsh edges and enhance the red pearl in Life’s Luxury. Some may say this look is too dramatic for the daytime/Summer, I say, “Do what you like.”

THE VERDICT:  If makeup could talk what would it say?

Makeup would tell you to follow this link (MAC) and buy all the Powerchrome pencils.  Life’s Luxury’s lasting power is a welcomed reassurance this time of year.  Depending how it is applied, Sweet As Cocoa is an overlooked blush that will suit many skin tones.  Use these products any way you wish, be it on lighter skins, darker skins, as eyeliner, as eyeshadows, daytime, nighttime, any season, any reason..you get the point.  I will take Icona Pop’s stance:

I DON’T CARE…I LOVE IT…

For a little boost, dance around to this song (ICONA POP) and enjoy your health; Life’s true luxury.  Be well and stay safe.

Current Makeup Products!

Current Makeup Products:

This post is dedicated to the makeup products which are currently in my rotation.  As all makeup addicts can attest, our attention is constantly swayed by the “new kid” on the makeup block.  A monthly update is not only advised it is required!!  Enjoy.

Starting from Left to Right:

  1. Too Faced Shadow Insurance in Lemon Drop:

Pretty good eyeshadow base, not the best.  Still looking for the one.  Currently testing a new one.  Will keep you updated!

  2. Laura Mercier Baked Blush Bronze in Ritual (reviewed here):

My favorite bronzer…wish they would make this a permanent item in the line.

  3. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light (reviewed here):

Really like the way this livens up my sallow complexion!

  4. MAC Mineralized Blush in Pressed Amber (discontinued):

Browny rose blush, also used as a blend out color for a smoky eye and as an all over lid color!

  5. Juicy Beauty CC cream in Warm:

The color is too dark/orange and the coverage is minimal, but makes a satisfactory primer.

  6. Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation (seen here):

This mineral based foundation has great coverage, moisturizing and is HD, however, it does not last all day for me.

  7. Estee Lauder Maximum Coverage foundation (seen here):

High coverage and super long lasting, however, very drying for dry skin.  Add some moisturizer to this or mix with another moisturizing foundation of your choice!

  8. Burberry Eyeshadow in Pale Barley (reviewed here):

No fuss, no muss color.  Great on days when I need to brighten my tired eyes!

  9. YSL cream liner in Gold Star #07 (seen here):

I use this little pot of gold as an eyeshadow, base color for powdered eyeshadows, and for my inner waterline liner!!!  Cannot say enough good about this product!

  10. MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot:

This is an eyeshadow base color to even out my eyelid coloring and brighten any powder eyeshadow that is applied on top.  You will still need a general base like TF to prevent creasing.

  11. It Cosmetics Hello Light Creme Illuminator:

Great base for any powdered highlighter.

  12. MAC lipliners in general:

I love Chicory (pencil form) and Red Enriched (Cremestick liner..automatic) and Nice n’ Spicy (Prolong Wear liners)..

  13. Shiseido Lacquer Rouge:

Beautiful liquid lipsticks which are moisturizing, long lasting and a great value.  These are great as toppers for drier formulas.  Review coming soon!

  14. Shu Uemura eyebrow pencil in Seal Brown:

Great match to my eyebrow color, very subtle.

  15. L’oreal Telescopic Mascara:

Great for lengthening and separating the lashes.

  16. Prestige My Blackest Lash:

Great for volume.  I like to add this mascara as a second layer after L’oreal.

  17. Physician’s Formula 2-in-1 Pen Eyeliner:

Fast, cheap, and easy liner.  Great in the cooler months, summer time requires a waterproof formula.

THE VERDICT:  If makeup could talk what would it say?

Makeup would tell me I am a very fickle and highly distractible woman.  My loyalties are constantly called into question when it comes to makeup products.  I can’t help it!!  Hence the monthly updates 🙂  Be well and stay safe.

Eye Makeup for Brown Eyes: Step-by-Step tutorial.

IMG_3476

End result with all products listed below!

This post was inspired by comments I received by Christa and Angie.  Christa is a new mom and was looking for suggestions to make her brown eyes pop.  Angie requested a post/guide specifically dedicated for new moms to follow.  I happily accept the challenge; an eye makeup for brown eyes is my specialty!

I have a soft spot for new moms, after all I use to be one.  Even though my babies are not babies anymore and my nights are rather peaceful (don’t be jelly), I find in many regards, I’m just as busy as ever!    The last thing any mom thinks about, is putting on makeup.   I went down that dark path, and trust me [I] was not pretty.  The more I tried to simplify my routine the more “I” became obsolete.

Invoking the spirit of the evil queen,  I recited ,  “Mirror, Mirror on the wall,  Am I the fairest of them all?”  Suddenly, sans  warning, the mirror shattered and I knew it was time to make a change.   Were the makeup powers that be, trying to tell me something?    I can take a hint….Without further ado, let me show you what has evolved from that faithful day:

THE PRODUCTS:   Please do not feel compelled to use/purchase the same products.  Substitute your own products as needed.

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Too Faced Shadow Insurance, MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot,  Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Eyesahdow in Shimmering Bronze,  YSL cream liner #7 Gold Star,  Laura Mercier Ritual,  Hourglass Diffused,  L’oreal Extra Intense liquid pencil eyeliner in Brown, Physician Formula 2-in-1 eyeliner pen in Dark Brown,  MAC Too Chic powder (used as a highlighter),  Sunday Riley blush in Blushing.
TOOLS: Burberry #09 blending brush, Estee Lauder angled eyeliner brush #20, Billy B #12 brush (THE BEST), Shu Uemura Seal Brown 02 eyebrow pencil, Billy B. eyebrow comb and brush.

 Step-by-Step Eye Tutorial:

  • ALWAYS start by applying a shadow base;  Too Faced Shadow Insurance is my choice (for now).  This will insure your eyeshadow does not crease.   Next, apply MAC Soft Ochre Paint pot to even out the lid coloring.  This can also be used as your sole eyeshadow (with the addition of mascara and liner) on lazy days for a clean polished look.

You should have something that looks like this.

  • Next, take L’oreal liquid eyeliner pencil in Brown and run a line along the lash line (does not have to be precise).  Then take Billy B. #12 brush or any angled eyeliner brush and smudge out the line.  Being that I have deep set eyes, I cannot take the brown all over the lid.  By keeping the upper half of the lid in the ochre color,  I give the illusion that my eyes are not as deep.  If I were to completely apply the brown to the whole mobile lid,  it would further recess my eyes.  Big no-no on tired eyes!

  • Next,  use Tarte’s eyeshadow in Shimmering Bronze and apply it on top of the smudged Brown liner.  Having the L’oreal liner act as a base for the Tarte shadow, will intensify the bronze and truly make it last all day!!!   Of course, you can add more Shimmering Bronze until you have reached your desired intensity!

  • Next, take Laura Mercier Ritual (reviewed here) and apply it with Burberry #09 blending brush to the crease and slightly above.  This step adds warmth and dimension to the eye area.  Add Hourglass Diffused (reviewed here) on the brow bone to highlight that area.

  • Next, take  Physician’s Formula 2-in-1 eyeliner pen in Dark Brown and line your lash line.  I always add a flick to the end to elongate my round eyes.

Coming together!!

  • Curl your lashes if necessary.  I do not do this step everyday because I have naturally long curled lashes, but for demonstration purpose here I go:

  • Next, add mascara and line the lower inner rim of your eyes with YSL #7 gold star cream liner.  If you really want your eyes to stand out, apply individual false lashes at the ends or an entire strip!

I used L’oreal Telescopic mascara, the one in the gold tube.

  • I always apply foundation, bronzer, blush, and finishing powder AFTER my eye makeup is complete.  This method will insure, any fallen shadow (from powder formulas) will not disrupt my face makeup.  No powdered eyeshadows were used for this look,  but I am so accustomed to doing things this way.  Can’t teach this young dog new tricks 🙂
  • Add your favorite lipstick and Voila you are done.

THE VERDICT:  If makeup could talk what would it say?

It would tell you to be the best version of yourself.  If makeup will get you there, even better.   Coco Chanel once said,

I don’t understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself upa little-if only out of politeness.  And then you never know, maybe that’s the day she has a date with destiny.  And it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.

Amen sister!!!   This pertains to men as well!!   Makeup also says, “A happy woman makes a happy MOMMY and WIFE!!!”  Be well and stay safe.

MAC Uninterrupted is a welcome interruption!!!

What can one say about a boring, matte, camel colored eyeshadow?  PERFECTION!!  NO ladies and gents I am not exaggerating, MAC Uninterrupted ($21 US) is really a lovely shade.  It is highly pigmented, applies smoothly, longevity is phenomenal, and the size (3.4 grams) is truly enticing.  When “they” (who is they?) say size does not matter, they lie…..It does!!!!  MAC has really created a hit with this Pro longwear eyeshadow.  Uninterrupted is one of the stand out shades that WILL suit brown (yours truly), green, and blue eyes beautifully.  I applied it with my Shu Uemura #10 flat shader brush and it went on like butter.  Uninterrupted remained true to color a solid 12 hours.  As always, I use my Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a base and MAC Soft Ochre paint pot as an all over lid shade.  Being that the formulation is matte, you can easily layer a lighter shimmery shade on top and create a truly unique shade.  The lightest shade from the Tom Ford Cognac Sable quad works very nicely on top of Uninterrupted.

Chanel’s Illusion D’ombre shadow in Vision is also a lovely topper shade for an evening look.  I’ll wear this combo here, there, anywhere…you get the point :0)

If you are adverse to applying Uninterrupted on the entire mobile lid, it can also be used as a crease/transition color.   Point is this is a very versatile color.  The size is larger and a better value than the average MAC eyeshadow (1.5 grams/$15US).  You will surely get your money’s worth!   The prolong wear line has 23 shades in its lineup.  Uninterrupted can be purchased anywhere MAC Cosmetics is sold.  I purchased mine at Nordstrom.
